OK, tackled the PopTop, so what was the actual metal roof like underneath?
Not to clever, but mainly surface rust - where the hinges are on the poptop, some of the guttering had rusted away and also on the roof itself, but nothing major.
(You can aslo see that the van was originally red all over)

OK - Tackled the rust (drill and wire wheel) then treated it all with POR15 then finally coated it with proper paint!

08.05.07
During this phase, added roof flashing (sticky on one side, with bitumen and a plastic coating on the other) to help 'deaden' the panels, as in reduce noise.
Will eventually fix some insulation in there too.
